The clients had toyed with the idea of moving home, but on reflection decided to stay-put and make improvements instead. Whilst the internal fixtures and fittings of their original kitchen weren’t particularly old, the layout wasn’t ideal.
So they decided to take the plunge and embarked upon a complete ground-floor redesign, which saw the kitchen and dining room knocked into one big, bright open space.
As well as a practical dining area which would comfortably seat the whole family, the couple really liked the idea of having an island with bar stool seating. Due to the position of an internal load-bearing wall, it was questionable at first as to whether this would, in fact, be possible. But, our terrific design team worked their magic and managed to incorporate it comfortably into the design.
The results speak for themselves – and the clients are delighted with the quality of workmanship and level of service received.
We couldn’t be more thrilled with our new kitchen, which has exceeded our expectations. From the initial consultation with Joanne, it was obvious she has good taste, extensive experience and knowledge. She was able to provide useful tips, show alternatives and manage a large project which involved building work. Nothing was too much trouble and her only concern was ensuring we made the right choices. The finished kitchen has the wow factor, it looks great, is functional and a high quality, with lots of clever storage options. The kitchen was good value for money and Joanne helped me source top of the range appliances at the very best prices.
